A week ago Wednesday there was a series of major thunderstorms that came through Southern Ontario at the end of the hot spell. The turbine took at least one major lightning strike, and some damage was caused to a blade that requires repair.

If you were travelling up the Peninsula today you might have notice a lot of concrete trucks. Today, we are pouring the foundation for the north turbine. Tomorrow we will pour the middle one.
There can be no bigger advocate for the preservation of birds than the Audubon Society. Wind Power monthly reports that the Audubon Society of New York is purchasing 100% wind power to run their offices.
